Black Friday has come to Ullesthorpe Court Hotel

As much as some people try hard to steer clear of Black Friday it’s very hard not to notice the build up to the 24^th November. I, like most people, have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and over the last couple of weeks I have noticed a steady increase in hashtags #blackfriday #blackfriday2017 #gift #shopping #blackfridaydeals #deals. I decided to do some research on this phenomenon and found out some interesting facts. The hashtags above are actually the top tags trending across the world, particularly in, America and the UK. Interestingly only 38.3% of women are searching for black Friday, however, 61.7% of men are searching for black Friday. I believe that most of the marketing for black Friday is being specifically geared to the male market as they are more open to buying deals online, possibly because it’s easy, private and doesn’t involve being dragged around the shops.

Now I will admit black Friday is not something I have ever got involved in, especially from a hotel perspective, but I must confess the more I have delved deeper into the phenomenon the more interesting I have found all the stats and history behind it. Black Friday is not just for retails in the UK anymore. Over the years I have seen a massive increase in campaigns and offers being pushed by the “hospitality industry” this obviously includes hotels. Ullesthorpe Court has decided to jump on this and do our own little campaign and offers. From the 27^th November we will start our campaign and build up to the final launch on the 24^th November. I’m obviously not going to tell you what these offers are, however, I will say that if I was reading this and knew what I know I would follow us. Our first advert goes out today and here it is:
