We’ve had a great summer of British sport so far.
Shane Lowry was crowned Champion Golfer of the Year in the 148th Open at Royal Portrush this July. The England Cricket team triumphed over New Zealand in a thrilling World Cup victory at Lord’s. The England Netball team also came in 3rd place in the Netball World Cup, held in Liverpool.
A couple of weekends ago saw Djokovic triumph over Federer to win the Men’s Singles in Wimbledon in an exceptionally close match, just after the excitement of the Ladies Singles Tournament, including 15-year-old Cori Gauff beating veteran Venus Williams.

With other international sports events recently such as the Tour de France, it is hard to not feel inspired by the dedication, hard work and perseverance of the athletes.

Now is the perfect time to use that inspiration to invest in yourself by doing some exercise. This could be with one of our Beginners classes, or more advanced Bootcamp classes. Exercise can encompass a broad range of activities that we offer at the hotel- swimming, tennis, cycling in our gym, weight training or running on the treadmills. To enjoy your exercise in the great outdoors, you could walk through a couple of rounds of golf a week.

We have dedicated qualified fitness instructors who will be happy to advise you of an exercise plan also- this is a free service for all members.
